• Pitch Your Book – April 2024 competition results, adjudicated by Scott Pack
  Enjoy the winning entries of our April 2024 competition in which writers were asked to pitch their book, as they would want it to appear in their query email that they would send to agents. 150 words maximum.
• May Competition
  Brief:Taking inspiration from a real person’s past life (famous, infamous, or non-famous) combined with your own creativity, write a historical fiction piece. (300 words)

Please note that the deadline for competition entries is now midnight on the 25th of each month, unless specified otherwise within competition details.  There is also a limit to one entry per person.

Please could give your story a title – something other than the actual competition brief, keep within the 300 word count limit (+/- 10%) and no PDFs please.  Thanks everyone!  Further entry rules can be viewed here: competition rules
