Coffee & Writing Chat 2023: Summer Dates

Summer is here, at last! Although Hampshire Writers Society takes a break in July and August (there are no talks or competitions), those of us who aren’t on holiday can still meet for coffee and writing chat.

If you can bear to tear yourself from your keyboard, why not come along to the cafe at the Winchester Arc (also known as the library) to meet new writer friends in a relaxed setting, or just enjoy coffee and cake.

Tell us about your your nagging plot problems and misbehaving characters, your non-fiction or poetry — we’re all writers!

Members and non-members welcome.

These informal meetings aren’t hosted or organised in any way, but Catherine will attempt to attend and bring a (hopefully) easily visible 30cm artist’s mannequin (see image below) to help you find the group.

Friday, June 23rd 10:30am

Thursday, July 20th 10:30am

Friday, August 25th 10:30am

If you have a request for a different day, time, or venue, or any questions, email inquiries @ hampshirewriterssociety.co.uk.
